Startline Base Camp
Looking to build a strong foundation for spring and summer running goals? You’re in the right place.
Base Camp is designed for runners who are ready to move beyond the 10K mark and are considering longer distances—like a half marathon—in the seasons ahead. This is your starting point for consistent training, community support, and intentional progress.
Whether you're confidently running 10K or just shy of it, Base Camp offers:
A structured training plan to help you build endurance safely and sustainably
Weekly group runs and conversations focused on goal setting, mindset, gear, nutrition, and hydration
A supportive community of runners and coaches who believe in your potential
We know that consistency is key—and that it’s easier (and more fun!) when you’re not doing it alone. With guidance, accountability, and connection, you’ll lay the groundwork for a strong and successful season ahead.
Let’s build your base—together.
Included:
Weekly Wednesday evening group run
Two weekly homework runs, to be completed on your own (or with new running friends from the group)
Weekly session pre or post run on a running related topic, which may include: mobility for runners, how to pick the right gear and shoes, intention setting, meditation and mindfulness for runners, instruction for proper running form, nutrition and hydration for running.
SUGGESTED RUNNING EXPERIENCE - CAN COMPLETE IN AND AROUND 10K OF CONTINUOUS RUNNING
DATES: September 17 to November 19 (weekly group run is on Wednesday at 6:00pm from Community Natural Foods in Edmonton.
